Paneer Jalferazi Cooking Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Paneer 250 gm
  • Onions 2 medium sized
  • Ginger 50 gms, made into thin strips
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Haldi power 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp [lightly filled ]
  • Green capsicum 2 medium size (red or yellow peppers may also be used)
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves a few stem chopped finely

COOKING METHOD

A favorite of all, paneer is a store-house of mostly all nutrients that can be collected and put into one item. Calcium, protein, minerals and much more. A vegetarian must ensure adequate protein intake as it compensates for the eggs and meat that non-vegetarians eat. So here are few of the favorite dishes, not too difficult to make and well liked.

  1. Make suitable pieces of paneer, either long or square and keep aside
  2. Slice onions, take a large frying pan and heat oil
  3. Saute the onions, and sliced tomatoes
  4. Lightly stir fry, add all the masalas
  5. Put paneer pieces and few ginger slices
  6. Stir lightly, add capsicum, stir
  7. Add lightly little water and cover immediately
  8. Lower flame keep on flame just as water begins to dry up
  9. The capsicum should be crunchy to the taste
  10. Serve with garnishing of remaining ginger slices and coriander leaves.

Butter Paneer Cooking Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Paneer 250 gm [cut as recommended]
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 4 grated
  • Tomato Puree 4 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cream 50 gm, 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Milk ¼ cup
  • Red chilly powder ½ tsp
  • Kashmiri mirch ½ tsp
  • Kasturi methi [dry methi leaves, fenugreek leaves]
  • Garam masala ½ tsp
  • Green chillies 2 to 3, slit
  • Red dry whole chillies 2

COOKING METHOD

The favorite Butter chicken gravy goes well with paneer too. Cut the paneer either in long thick pieces or large squares and let the pieces soak in the gravy so as to soften them.

  1. Melt butter in pan on low heat
  2. Put dry red whole chilles, and add the minced ginger garlic paste
  3. Stir a bit, add grated tomato
  4. Now add all masala and stir
  5. Add tomato puree and a bit of water
  6. Mix well for 2 to 3 min and add milk
  7. Pour the cream, mix
  8. Add paneer pieces, cover with lid
  9. Turn off fire and leave for a bit
  10. Garnish with dry methi and slit green chillies. Serve hot.

Peas Paneer Cooking Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Paneer 200 gm
  • Green Peas 1 cup [if using fresh boil for 8 min, if using frozen boil for 2to 3 min]
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 3 grated
  • Ginger 15 gm, chopped finely
  • Thick curd ½ cup
  • Haldi powder 1 tsp
  • Dhania powder 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Jeera 1 tsp

COOKING METHOD

A good combination for both the items as they complement each other and the result is delicious.

  1. Grate tomatoes
  2. Heat oil in a deep vessel
  3. Add jeera and add tomatoes, dhania, haldi and red chilly powder
  4. Stir well, add little water and mix
  5. Add peas, stir, cover and lower flame
  6. Cut paneer and add to the mixture
  7. Add curd, mix well and add salt
  8. Cook for 2 min
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
